E-Puja is one of the newest initiatives brought forward by the South 24 Parganas District Administration to cope with the threat of the COVID-19 Pandemic and reach out to the millions of devotees across the world.
With this initiative, one can offer their puja directly from their home by filling up the E-Puja form, mentioning your name and gotro, and pay Rs 100.
After offering the Puja at the Kapil Muni Temple, the devotees will receive the e-puja within 10 days.
The pack will have the puja prasad and Ashirwadi flower, so that every individual who aren’t able to reach the mela physically, can feel its pulse from their drawing room.
The journey to Gangasagar in mediaeval times was a perilous one. With the passage of time, the journey has eased up but still remains exhaustive for the elderly and PWDs, making them hesitant about the sacred pilgrimage despite having a strong desire.

The devotees will get a glimpse of the initiative taken by the district authorities to make the Ganagasagar Mela a more welcoming place. Besides this, the behind-the-scenes faces and duties of social workers and government officials who weave the magic would be revealed to the world.
